Honouring the Women Left Behind
Widowhood in Nigeria often brings more than grief; it can mean the sudden loss of income, social standing, and support. Many widows in our community are left to raise children alone, navigate property disputes, or face neglect from extended family at the very moment they need care most.
The Widows Care program exists to stand in that gap, providing practical relief and a community that does not forget them once the mourning ends.
“Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.”— Isaiah 1:17, ESV
